Abbie is a Bidayuh native hailing from Kampung Git, the Padawan area of Kuching. As she currently pursuing her passion for social entrepreneurship, she founded The Backyard Tour Guide which aims to empower the rural youth in the community with basic tour-guiding skills, communication skills, and other service oriented skills.
Amy always has an eye for batik fashion henceforth she founded The Batik Boutique. As the CEO of the social enterprise, in 2015, the company started their first sewing school located in a government-subsidised housing project. The school offers to sew as well as life skills training and step by step create sustainable working opportunities for women. To date, there are over 50 artisans including batik producers and seamstresses trained under The Batik Boutique.
Stevens was an admirable businessman and he was good at what he was doing. But he faced a challenge, not every businessman come across. He lost his vision on 2007 due to glaucoma. Though a tough obstacle, he didn’t stop there, he has founded three organizations - Malaysia Glaucoma Society (an NGO), Save Ones Sight Missions Bhd and Dialogue in the Dark Malaysia (a social enterprise). They exist with the aim to educate the public to not take their eyesight for granted and also to empower and equip the visually impaired community.
Saiful has a background of working with various multinational companies for the past 12 years, he is now the founder of Sambio Resources, a social enterprise based in Kuantan. Sambio Resources collect and buy used cooking oils (UCO’s) from poor families, disabled people, orphanage centre and any underprivileged societies.

As the provider of reusable sanitary pads, Anja is embarking on Girl Empowerment Project to create awareness that young girls need to be educated on their bodies and their rights to have healthy and hygienic living.
Kiew has vast experience in accounting and finance from her 17 years in the corporate sector. In 2011, she started a social enterprise called Heart Treasures with a mission to help the young who have autism, developmental-delay (slow-learner), cerebral palsy, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), physical disability, by producing handcrafted products which enable them to exercise and develop their motor skills and function as occupational therapy and provide a source of income for them.
Co-founder of Foodabox, a social enterprise that provides food operators the access to cheaper eco-friendly food boxes via food box advertising. By selling advertising spaces on food boxes and using the revenue to defray costs, they are able to help the food operators in Malaysia to replace the harmful polystyrene food boxes.
Mastura is the co-founder of The Nasi Lemak Project (TNLP), a social enterprise that trains urban poor families to cook Nasi Lemak and distribute it to the mass market whilst utilising the profit and this helps to create social impact through the creation of urban poor entrepreneurs. Apart from being a regular volunteer for UNHCR, she also led various volunteering and social impact projects for the past five years. It is with no surprise she won the International Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award from the USA in 2014.
Adrian is currently the Executive director of Tonibung in Sabah. Tonibung is a social enterprise that brings cost-effective resource management solutions to underserved rural indigenous communities in Malaysian through developing and designing community-based Micro Hydro systems and other appropriate technologies for rural applications.
With a background of working with the blue chip such as Intel and Agilent, in 2010, he founded ANB Agro Trainers, a social enterprise up in the north Malaysia focusing on creation of sustainable livelihood for youths, single mothers and their children along with senior citizens through agriculture.
